(1) Model Reading The teacher will recite the poem which helps the pupil to follow the musical tone of the poem. Teacher takes care of the pronunciation of words, stress, rhymes etc. gives effectiveness to poem. The students are listening to the poem without opening their books.
(2) Imitation Reading The student teacher asks the students to read the poem under his supervision one by one. Other students listen to them well.
(3) Explanation by the teacher Teacher explains the poem. This poem is written by Christina Georgina Rossetti, a famous poet. The poet by her imagination describes the rainbow. She says that the boats are sailing on rivers and ships are sailing across the sky. Bridges build up on the rivers but the bow is as a bridge in heaven and also on over tops of trees.
